Expired film, drug store developing, and grungy lenses. Ms. Scarpulla draws her inspiration from her psychedelic experiences growing up and the Victorian spiritual movement. In her techniques she seems to be taking a lighter to her prints which adds a curious texture to the images. The second to last image demonstrates this effect (neat seeing the figure engaged with the burn mark).
